Yeah iirc the normal,connector on Audio leads is IEC rated C13. Kettle leads use C15 which has a notch out. Now you can easily use a C15 for Audio and Furutech even make posh connectors. You can’t use a C13 on a kettle though because of a protrusion on the socket that stops any lead without the notch being used. AFAIK the C15 is used for applications where there may be heat dissipation. I’ve been used C15 connectors on my hifi on DIY leads before, so in my case, Shane was right
