I have just made up a pair of the Wireworld Micro Eclipse 7 cables, with pure copper XLRs. To make up, they were a bit fiddly but nothing too complex, just the need for a sharp knife, steady hand and keen eye. Well I had one of those! Let you guess which... All I can say it was a bargain from the Pound Shop for £1.50, as part of a set.
So how do they sound? First impressions are mighty fine. I have them between the Aria Server and Mutec and Mutec and AQvox DAC. First thing I was aware of was a much better defined sound stage, a greater depth and control to LF bass and just being able to hear more from instruments. The micro detail on Here Comes The sun, by the Beatles. What had sounded like a single pitched note before had greater complexities, overtones and undertones. Greater complexity and emotion to voices, even with relatively simple recordings like Roadrunner (twice) by Jonathan Richman. I am very pleased, a great improvement over very basic cables that they replace. Well worth the effort

It's very difficult to find anything affordable that does everything as well as the WW7 does. Its impressed me so much that I haven't bothered chasing anything else. Great cable, and great to read the effect it's having in your system.

I need to ask regarding this as I am in the position were any major kit purchases are just no longer possible due o being retired and on a low fixed pension . I want to get the very best BNC - BNC cable for straight digital music signals from a player to a DAC / Reclocker it would seem that the Wireworld is the best option but I do not have the skills to make up a cable so is there any ready made options ?
Then I would like the best BNC - BNC for an external clock cable . I think this needs to be different to the digital signal cable and I have tried a few and found differences . The one I have now is good but as always I want to see if there is anything available that would be better . Maximum spend I want to make is £100 per cable as i am not going to be able to hear them before buying and that is as much as I am prepared to risk .
Any comments and suggestions are appreciated .

I was going to order one from that company Tony linked to, so happy to tag you in for a 50ohm cable too. It may be worth getting a bit of a group buy on, if anyone else is interested? Regarding BNC....tricky. I have a Clearer Audio OCC one here that you are welcome to try. I liked it a lot, but no longer use BNC.

I really rate the WW7 but am using it as AES from server to Mutec and Mutec to DAC

But the Mutec has a BNC output for AES/EBU at 110 ohm could that not be used ?

Put simply it's half the signal, an unbalanced output from a balanced signal.

Just yesterday I received a new AQ Carbon cable from Futureshop, with it been a tad unwieldly, I struggled to connect it to the Matrix Audio SPDIF and PS SGCD, using the i2S in and out ports. But when it was connected, it showed a great improvement over the cheap basic one I was using before
