I snapped one of these up on a whim. I won't be abandoning my Sonneteer, but this was cheap enough for me to hear without loss so I figured why not? It's small and pretty so I might keep it as an ornament if it sounds nice too. Anyone heard one? I'd be interested to hear your thoughts even if it was crap www.eeaudio.com/eeaudio_008c.htm

Thanks Oliver. I am really trying it to increase my experience. It’s also small enough to store easily if I fancy a blast of valves at any stage,

Then why didn't you wait until an Audion comes on the market, at least you know you like them?

Yes that’s right. Also the Kt90s weren’t common and I can’t remember what they were. They were meant to be really special. Also my Sonneteer is probably the most satisfying amps I’ve owned. It’s not likely to be displaced. This is just one of those “why not” moments

Cheers, Jammy. Same here. ECL82s are also cheap, plentiful, and many vintage ones still seem to be out there to try..

It’s not arrived yet. I’m headed back to England for a week or two, so will hopefully get a play. It’s going to a mate first so he will probs have first try Might just drag it back to Cyprus and try it there.
