8 track, there's a blast from the past. The performance was quite good as it was 1/4 inch tape rather than the 1/8 of cassettes.
In my youth I used to fix ICE equipment for a job and I developed a way of fixing the slippage you could get with high usage machines. Oh happy days.

First listened to Dark Side of the Moon on an 8 track at a mates house - sounded bloody brilliant at the time. His dads Granada (Mk1) had an 8 track in the dash too. Great days

My very first job ever - aged about 15 Christmas school break at HMV Oxford Street - we sold bucket loads of these. Section along from the quadraphonic section.
