I'm not really a big fan of these Americanised events, but I did participate today. I wanted a 0.5m BNC to BNC cable and had been considering a few options. One in particular was interesting: a.aliexpress.com/_mrvWuFSI had a look earlier and it had 50% off! So I grabbed one.

Yeah, have a long length of triple c rca which would make 3 nice short cables. So need 12 Monosaudio RCA’s. Aliexpress now have sets of 4 reduced from £29 to just over £22. Think I’ll pull the trigger.

I really hate this black Friday grab a bargain bollox, in mant cases it's more expensive lol However I managed to bag what would consider a serious deal, as you know, one can never have rwo many Wadia's The same goes for oscilloscopes as well for myself so when a chance call and some slight leverage was applied I have managed to accquire a serious R&D scope, with a 'free' bandwidth upgrade to 4Ghz also included are 1Gpts of memory plus one of the few specialist active probes I do not have. Now this is a big outlay for myself, so after some hard negotiations a deal was struck. Down side is 18 week lead time however its not like we don't have one to use in the mean time. Rather Spiffing R&D tool However there was enough left in the budget to obtain a new a streamer (for Anne of course!) Have to say I'm quietly impressed so far, great GUI check, easy to use check, three LPS's, supermarkets ups, twin ssd, sounds most enjoyable. Need to wait for a black one though Rather spiffing streamer

misterc The Aurender N20 gets some very good reports, used in many hi-end systems. Is this for your home system?

misterc The Aurender N20 gets some very good reports, used in many hi-end systems. Is this for your home system? Dave It will be used in Anne's system, msb reference + select base, Coherent LM pre 3, DZ mono's and Tad R1's. The N20 works really well with MSB she is happy with using it. In my own system it comes reliitively close to what I currently have, for your brother the 20 SE version with dual AES for the dcs or esoteric dacs would be the ideal now the Apex upgrade is in place. I have identified a few areas of interest I can look jnto, it's a quality piece of equipment, imho a big step above the hrimm gu-1,pink faun & Antipoles K50 in many areas, oh the app is intuitive and great to use. The downsise for myself is no on board ripping, Aurender do havd two separate dedicated ripper/storage /servers thd ASC 100 & ACS 10 but that is extra outlay both devices really decent with LPS internally or hou could just use one of these and feed the Rossini via RJ45 if you were just played stored music

We have demo'ed a few different speakers recently but cannot find anything we like more than the Estelon's, without spending a huge amount of cash.
