Only the model 60 as far as I'm aware You need to spend £40k+ for a Model 30, so I dread to think what it costs to beat that humble SP10 with an SME TT Your correct, just a bit of leg pulling on my part! I think your looking north of £60K

Not because I have one, but because of how drastically better they are than the *majority* of these "superdecks" costing way north of £20k It just gets on my tits lol

Shame they don't make one that doesn't look like a 1210. I'm surprised no one else has made a fancy chassis for it

I don't know, dinosaurs eventually developed into birds over the course of millennia. Therefore given enough time I suppose there's a chance the SP10 could morph into something visually desirable.

My money would be on the AP-0 sounding bloody good. Not with that Denon 103r on it 🤣 I've said it before so I'll say it again, I liked the 103 when I heard it, and that's coming from a retired Lyra user.

mikeyb Did you also see thread where someone is very interested in a Clearaudio Master Reference on the Wam, the Tomb Raider one. Oh, and it's a belt drive

You can get a belt drive to deliver very good speed consistency, ask Simon SQ.
It's just that most of them don't, regardless of how much they cost.

There's a limit to how good any TT can be for wow and flutter, and that's the performance of the cutting lathe in that regard. Not much you can do about that no matter how much engineering know-how, time and money you throw at the problem.
