Hello All. I'm delighted to be here, and I very much hope that I can offer a meaningful contribution to your Hi-Fi forum.
Please allow me to tell you a little about myself. I'm a died-in-the-wool Naim fanboy, and life has blessed me with an amazing business acumen, together with incredible film-star looks, (think Brad Pitt being blended with Herbert Lom). My audio heroes so to speak are Russ Andrews, Richard Dunn and Noel Keywood, who I consider to be the Triumvirate of Gods of the audio world. I've even gone so far as to build a shrine to them mainly consisting of Grundig and Amstrad parts, which I regularly kneel in front of and pray for audio wisdom, subject to the availability of appropriate joss-sticks. In fact it's supermen such as these that have enabled the rapid growth of businesses like Richer Sounds.
Not wishing to sit on the sidelines any longer, I will shortly be launching my own audio brand under the 'StevieLab' flagship. My first offering will be targeting the high-end of the market, and will be an intuitive all-in-one-box solution called 'Helen Keller Mk. 1'. I can honestly promise you all a sound quality the like of which you've never heard!
Anyway, enough of my rambling. Fond wishes to all.

Having just viewed Stevielad's introduction my initial reaction was blimey do I want to do this? ( far too polite to ask what have you been taking) Then I thought that as Brad Pitt does not even come close, I would give it a go!
My user name is not to compete with "westie" but to simly pay homage to my two Westies Milly and Daisy who have recently passed away and left my wife and self heartbroken.
The friendly non aggressive style here has an enormous appeal to me and I look forward to sharing my opinions with you all.

My last loss was 2002 and I still miss him. Both my wife and I are desperate to have a pair of Westies. We need to have more settled living circumstances first but we are looking to do this as we speak. I’ve always adored dogs but never had Westies. We are hoping to find a pair who are middle aged and need a loving home. Puppies would be amazing but we have always had rescue dogs and would like to do so again as soon as we can commit to a home for enough time not to cause them distress. Sorry for thread drift, but Westies are worth it

What a character he was! We also, lived beside two Westies called Holly and Jack. Not seeing them was the hardest thing about moving.
