I fitted a slower motor, and an adjustable power supply to mine, as I think 4rpm is a bit quick.

What recipe do you use for the cleaning solution, I already have distilled water, wetting agent and IPA for use with my Okki Nokki. |

Mike is that a 6 or a 9L bath?
We have six of them in various sizes, the 9L one is ideal for most medium and small sized circuit boards we purchased in the UK with a 2 year warranty for £262, they have heating elements, various cavitation programes and deguessing plus the cabinet draning spout, fully digital.
What do you pay fr your if you don't mind me asking?

I have a 9L professional and a 20 litre professional here in the lab, the larger 20 litre one is spot on for the larger Wadia circuit boards and amplifier cleaning.
We do have the big 99 itre version for raw material and case work cleaning prior to heat treatment and plating. (occassionally it does the odd cylinder block and pistons

Well that took some tracking down, there are so many for sale on Aliexpress that even if I clicked on my order it tried to sell me the same model but from China. It took some amount of back and forth to find the actual CZ one. The one I bought is from the CZ Republic and takes less than a week to arrive and includes free postage, also, look around for vouchers, I took it down to £196 😉 When you see the list of models, mine is the first one supplied with the black clamp for 5 records m.fr.aliexpress.com/item/4000091018063.html?spm=a2g0n.order_detail.0.0.11937d56MqP2bx&html=static&gatewayAdapt=glo2fraTake note: I specified UK version but it still only came with 2 pin EU plugs, luckily I had another psu for the clamp anyway, like Cageyh I now use a lower voltage psu to run it slower, mine is now 5v-2a. The ultrasonic bath is just a standard iec socket so that's easily resolved with another lead or just fit another plug 😉 PS: I suspect that even if you try that link it might take you to other versions/sellers as I've now looked again and the site is giving me the runaround! Might just be because I'm using my phone rather than the pc, so be warned and checked your basket to make sure you've bought from CZ. I’ve also edited the thread title so it makes more sense to anyone looking at a record cleaner for themselves.  |

I was amazed when I went from a purely vacuum based cleaner to an ultrasonic cleaner what difference it made. Looking forward to hearing how you get on with yours Mikey.

I've done a few and they seem to have come up nice and clean. I added too much wetting agent in my second batch and that caused issues and I had to vacuum them to get them dry. I'm learning as I go 😂 |

On some vinyl, especially old vinyl, I find doing things twice over is needed. Seems like the first pass loosens things up a lot and the second pass detaches the old crud properly.
How are you drying things?
