Macca, my findings are when listening to a good recording, on systems I don't like, make the system more listenable, systems that I like even more enjoyable. Since I don't understand all these measurements I don't know whether the systems that I like measure very good or not, and I don't really care, and I don't care whether I am listening to it as the artist intended, in fact do all the artists really care, do they all own systems that measure well to be able to listen to music?
I thought I need to get these and will explain to partner later.
so good to have you croftie , i love worcester , we have just been walking near alvechurch today and we love pershore
i also assist with a small charity which has folks with some mental health problems and responsible in some ways for a family with autistic child
If you are ever in Worcester please do message me to have a listen to Crofts and Beauhorns.
My days of running a MH charity are done now although I might still help a couple of the local peer to peer MH support groups if I have time as it’s my passion really . Will I suspect be co-opted into it at the college although it’s not my main job role .
Looking after autistic children / supporting adults is really tough in my experience you have to find a way to harness their often all consuming interests whilst at the same time help them to function and fit in to the neurotypical world . A hard balancing act as they want to do the former and not do much the latter .
