I sold a pair of thieaudio Oracle's on ebay yesterday. Mint condition, no marks, Nadal, absolutely perfect in every way. The buyer messaged me to say one of them rattles and that the ear tip port on the other is bent. ( it's stainless steel).
I informed him I'm happily take them back, but will start a civil fraud claim against him if what he returns isn't what I sent. I weighed them to within 0.01g and took pics of the hand painted face plates, just in case.
Surprisingly he's gone quiet.
F-cking chancer, probably had a knackered pair and thought he'd swap them out on my dime.
Ebay, w-nkers everywhere.

Simon
This is e-bay wankerism at it best.
It's a good practice to take images of the item working and packaging I always produce q full suite of photos when working on equipment or sales
A couple of occassions people have sent in equipment for upgrades and the unit was faulty (really) so for the last 18 months I conduct a full electrical safety test.
Recently I took pocession of a 4K camera so now a full video is created. It's quite a sad state of affairs that normal rational people have to go to
