Looks okay, any website can be checked using an online URL checker like this: www.urlvoid.com/(just an example one, there are loads). This comes up fine on all checks. In my experience given how basic a website it seems (aesthetically) I'd say it's just run on a shoestring budget but not suspicious at all. Most of the 'scam' ones actually look a lot more modern as they are trying to look like big legitimate sites.

Domain Name registered 23 May 2019 via godaddy Company mentioned on Website Melodo Company Ltd Meledo Company Ltd registered at Companies House 20 Dec 2018 Sole Shareholder is Liyun Fan whose address is in Nanshan District, Shenzhen, China. No financial history to speak of since the company was incorporated. UK company address simply a 'brassplate'.
Website says it has warehouses in various countries including UK to allow for fast shipping.
Personally I would buy a battery from Amazon (even if Amazon is only fulfilling the order) as this will allow an easy return/refund (if required).

Thanks Edward, I'm guessing you are not 150 convinced it is a legitimate site ? It is a replacement power lead for my large work monitor screen.

Oh it probably is a ligit business. Just that there are various red flags which makes me wary. Likely that the order will be ok, but I would question how the return process will be. What's so special about the power lead you need? I have dozens of normal power cables. Happy to send you one.

Ah - you are looking for an HP adaptor rather than a power lead. Nope I don't have many of those - only one in use.
However there are many on Amazon for sale. I recommend you looking there. If you don't have free Amazon shipping send me a PM. I'm sure we can sort things out.

I use my local Computer Shop. Like to support a local business and help keep the town alive. I use Amazon as a last choice, would prefer my retailers to pay all taxes and contributions to society as they should, and, I am sure, we all do.

Yes indeed, was going to do jst that in the first place but came across that site from convenience of home so thought save me a popping out, but yeah I do like to support the locality

Power lead cable turned up this morning, thank God.
Ordered on 7 April, so although low price, that's the trade-off.
Amazon and the usual others would be a few days, local, if they have, also might be a better option, if not too pricey.
Item working perfectly, but delivery lonnngg
