What cable is best for this? I would have thought a decent coax, to minimise noise, but I may be wrong? I am thinking of the NEOTECH NEI-3003 MK III.

ive tried that and didnt rate it to be honest. i've not had great joy using coax when used for tonearms. oli knows what i rate highly but sadly its not sold anymore. i have a couple of meters stashed though

It's a top quality arm cable, but it's no longer available to us and it's not coax, so no good. What you want, K, is to source an old Audio Technica tonearm cable.... I'll find the model number. It's high purity OFC, like 7N or something. It's coax, and it will out perform that Webro stuff.

I wouldn't recommend a Yannis I'm afraid, but I have seen the inside of them on multiple occasions.
I'll be making a PC-TRIPLE C arm cable in the next few weeks, to maybe hand on for that @cageyh and then build your own?

I have a bit of copper braid and silicone tubing on the way. So I am hoping to get a decent finish

Is this going to be an RCA to RCA cable Kevin, running from a connector box on your tt or direct to the arm base? If it is the first option could any interconnect be used and you add a separate earth wire? I could of course be talking out of my backside.

I don’t know what cables you and Jamie are talking about, the post seemed to change from the OP’s request to an unidentified cable discussion without reference. Im easy to confuse. Gary

Current cable is a Mogami 2528. 110pF/m I am not using Webro on my tonearm. The current cable is soldered to the arm base. The plan is that the next one will be as well.

If you had a choice, would you fit RCA or a DIN socket to your arm base?
