I am thinking of increasing the isolation of my turntable, but I am not 100% sure it will be worth it. At the moment, it is sat on a HiFi Racks wall shelf, on the Funk Firm Boing feet, which are sprung.
I was thinking of adding a ZaZen II platform underneath, but I am not sure I will be able to tell the difference if I do it. It seems like a sensible thing to do, but I cannot feel any vibrations on the plinth of my Techie.

do you really have that much of a vibration problem kevin? i would think the wall shelf and feet are good enough?

It sounds good, but I was wondering if it could sound better? All for less than the cost of a fancy bot of copper.

if you can get newplast plasticine in france try some between 2 boards then put your tt on that. the newplast brand has nearly the same damping figures as panzerholz.

I can get Newplast. But if the ZaZen made no difference, I could send it back…

But if the ZaZen made no difference, I could send it back… But if you purchased two bamboo chopping boards and Newplast and it didn't make any difference they could be used to help isolate other pieces on your rack. Could you get away with one chopping board and wrapping the Newplast in cling film?

Not sure having plasticine on show will please me. The thing is, can you over isolate a Turntable?

I'm sure you can isolate a turntable, and rolling the Newplast into a ball, placed under the equipment or board, would you be able to tell the difference between that and an iso puck from a distance. (Well I wouldn't with my eyesight ) Have a look at what MisterC is selling

It depends on the colour you can get, and I need to add another block of wood.
