I’m after a device to add a 12v trigger to the power input of a hifi component. I have only come across one such device, per below, but that’s from a french manufacturer and I’m sure with import etc. i’ll end up paying £50 and probably waiting a month. www.audiophonics.fr/en/diy-kits-and-boards/audiophonics-trigger-12v-230v-slave-power-supply-device-p-10661.htmlDoes anyone know whether it’s possible to get one of these from a UK retailer anywhere? I’ve searched a lot but can’t find anything. Then again I’m not sure what exactly to call it. I’m probably missing the obvious term and there are loads out there 😊 I’ve just got a new AV processor and I need a power amp to drive the ceiling speakers in the adjacent kitchen from the zone 2 output. I want it to power on/off automatically, but also to buy s/h and spend as little as possible on it. Most don’t have a 12v trigger input (especially at the cheaper end) so I’m looking to add one.

That would be so easy to build. It is just a 12V relay in a box.
I have plenty of spare relays, you are welcome to one if you want to make one,or I will knock something up for you.
