Nice work Oli, those plugs are great, I used the same making up a couple of leads to use abroad, although I used OCC. Did you get that cable from AliExpress?

I just feel I should stick up for Andrew (AF Cables). Although I cannot comment on his mains leads, I have had a pair of his XLR interconnects, and replaced them with a slightly longer pair of the same ones, when I purchased new PS monobloc amps a few months ago. They were well finished, customer service via e mail was excellent and the sound was excellent, I will be getting a pair of RCA interconnects (VDH The Name) to replace my AV to pre ASAP.
My power and pre are powered using Missing Link power chords

peterthebutcher I'm glad you had a positive experience with his signal cables, but his work on those mains cables is absolutely indefensible. If you can ignore the fact he built those mains cables and personally installed them in a house with three girls (all under ten) living there, defend his reputation, give him money, and enable him to sell more cables, that's entirely your choice.
