Any info on these?
Would be interested in a comparison between the "Draco" and the "Pegasus"

Looked at the blurb on the Musician site and no mention of bit depth. Perhaps a lower bit depth to decrease costs?

24 instead of 32 might make sense.
Looks fairly identical apart from that. Although others would have a better idea both visually and audibly.

First one is Draco, second one is Pegasus. Looks like similar components with slightly different layout. Imagine it's just a case of superior components on the Pegasus

Due to the IEC inlet, FPGA's and emi filter I would suggest the lower of the two images is more expensive one.

Absolutely correct Tony. Comparing the resistor ladders and the number of switch chips at the sides I can confidently say the Draco is 16 bit.
The Pegasus is 24 bit on SPDIF input.

Thanks Alan
So much to really get your teetch into with both models, performance enhancement paradise with either of them! Seriously some decent imporvements to be gained without question though for maximum warp Captain a box relocation would be helpful. However still some nice gais to be have even without a case transplant.

24 bit r2r? Maybe on the input receiver, defo not on the resistors, the holo may 2 just about manages it with 23.something on the resistors.

I have a holo coming very soon so I will be giving it a workout throughly and then applying some real world experiments and possibily in a couple of weeks inviting some of you guys along for a demonstration of how and what is possible with these dac's and how external aftermarket digital manipulators CAN and do make a difference dispite around -138dbc or lower FFT 20Hz-20Khz plot.
Before hand we wil be performing live REAL TIME measurmets with industry standard benchmarking equipment before and after in controlled enviroments, then inviting you to listen to a before and after the measurments have been performed in front of you. That way your phyco acoustic premsis have already been set as 'No way it can't make any difference'
I know its going to be entertaing!
