Prat is almost totally undefined psychoacoustic effect. The best is heard it described is that it makes the listener want to tap along to the rhythm.
Well that's as much to do with your taste in music, past experience, and emotional response as anything in the dac.
Doesn't matter what dac you play reggae on , I ain't tapping. I'm probably getting up and leaving the room.

PRaT does exist in my book, some systems have it and others not so much so, whether the sound draws you in more making you feel closer to the music I don't know. I don't think it's the music on it's own though because you can listen to the same piece on two different systems, and feel one gives more than the other.
