Hi All,
I am looking for a reasonably priced pair of working XO's for the NS1000M.
I know there are multiples pairs on HiFiShark, but they aren't as tidy as i'd like for the price they want.
Let me know what you've got.
Thanks
Oliver

Yes i have matey. They are too much money to just chop up and rebuild. Probably end up just building some on a bit of PCB and seeing if it's worth going with external XO's

What's the objective? To bypass the level controls?

What's the objective? To bypass the level controls? No, i can do that without rebuilding the XO's I want to use some solid quality PP caps and remove the 40yr old caps already in there. I just don't want to butcher the ones i have in case i want to reuse them.

they are glued into deep receptacles and removal is a nightmare, either you destroy the caps or damage the receptacles

Qwin might be able to help, I'm sure he made an active pair and rebuilt the enclosures too. He might have some useful advice.
Not sure if he's on here, he's definitely on AoS.

Take the copper bars off and nonpolar caps come out easy with a bit of waggling. The colder the better to make the glue brittle.
