'Fraid not.
Kevin has been in contact with the builder and Tom the designer who have come back with a few ideas.
Forwarded all that on to the guy who will be checking the unit out but it could be a while since he's quite busy at the moment.

Dave,
Looking at the pictures, one of the wires onthe XLR socket does not look right to me. As it was an EE that built these, I am surprised there is so much bare wire. It is not a safety issue, but it makes me wonder if this is a loose connection, which could cause a channel to drop out.
It will be worth checking out.

Happy days! The monos have been re-united and they are back in place.  I've only just fired them up but so far sounding good Huge thanks to both @cageyh (Kevin) and firebottle (Alan) for their excellent help in sorting out the problem - it is very much appreciated. |
