Hi all, I am looking to raise a couple of quid to finish off some projects that are awaiting funds and as I have my (nearly ready) fugly BB3 to use temporarily, I think letting this posh one go to a new home is a good way of doing it. This is my own personal unit, which is only a few months old. I built this one to be the absolute best version of the Phonostage that it could be. It has the new MultiFET PCBs installed with the new JFETs, Clarity Cap CMR output caps, OCC wiring and CMC sockets on the rear. Every signal cap and resistor is matched to 0.1% between channels and to 0.1% of the required value. It has a Custom wound EI transformer and its own captive shielded mains cable. I could write loads about it, but there is so much information out there already. I will accept £850 delivered, and that will include 2x Matsushita PCC88s and 1x 6N2P-EV If you want it with my Telefunken valves, it's going to cost £1000 delivered Please note, I can't post until after 31/10/20

If it's all Bigman has cracked it up to be , then it should be pretty good.

Ok Thanks Out of interest how does it set loading for MC carts? There are loading plugs being fitted for the new owner, but I use push in resistor holders. They are ok if you don't change values often, but the new owner does.

Thats the one thing I never did with the Paradise Oli, I've always kept my original reference. Though to be fair the riaa has been replaced twice, I added Calvin's to replace the inboard stage, it has a new external psu and ive replaced all the transistors with better matched parts.
Not much of the original left apart from the pcbs!

That one was the first "Reference" version I did, where absolutely everything was perfect. Thankfully, I have enough bits for this one to be perfect too, and the bits I haven't got I am ordering now. The few I've been paid to build were all better than mine, which is why I went to the Nth degree with this one.

Damn - missed this I am aiming to make some one box versions in the near future with the hopes of getting the price under £1k without compromising the sound quality. Early indications are that I am on the right path, but I need to find a suitable case. The one I have for the prototype is in need of vents machining into it so that's not going to be cost effective. Keep saving your spare change.....I'm likely to make 5 and let them into the wild.. you may need to move swiftly!
