Normally it would wind me up too, but shaking hands is a bloody daft custom anyway. The only good thing about it is that it’s less annoying than the continental hug and kiss on both cheeks. I always refuse and it almost always goes down like a lead balloon. There are only two times I want physical contact with anyone.
