I tried to re-join, unfortunately nothing happened, so I assume they still don't want me, even though they say all bans are now cancelled. our front garden is way bigger than most english back gardens lol..got parking for about 10 cars on the driveway aswell.
sod going back to leaving the cars on the street over night..had many either stolen or broken into back then.
take for granted here parking ya car on ya driveway...big selling point in the uk off street parking.
nice to have your car on YOUR LAND

Storing your car in the garage was not really aimed at you, more of a uk problem. From what you have said, living away from the big city, you suffer less with crime, although a £50k Camaro would always be a tempting target.

Too true Westie, new build garages seem to be built for storage. 30 years ago I purchased a bungalow which was still to be built by a small local builder. I remember he was changing the plan sizes on the bungalow and garage to make them more realistic.

Mortgage is still paid off of course and paid for me car with cash anorl, can't be doing with high end hi-fi it's all ear splitting cack.
