Well, I'm gutted. After a series of unfortunate events, I have to raise some funds. Mainly due to the necessity of keeping clean. Our bloody Shower packed in. The gaffer has decreed it. I must reluctantly obey. With 2 dogs and two under 10's going bonkers everyday, it an acceptable request. I bought this amplifier a few weeks back from a very judicious owner. Since then I have been thoroughly enjoying it and had zero intent on selling ....... I have even acquired a quad of RCA 6V6L valves to put in it! They haven't even arrived yet. The Amplifier is superb....read my ramblings on it. Honestly, this is a great listen and only gets better as you put better 12AU/AX7'S in it. I could live with this amplifier forever and not worry about a thing. This will come with the stock KT88's, stock input valves and the RCA Radion 6V6L's, obviously when they arrive. No idea of hours on the stock valves but the RCAs measure very strongly on the sellers valve tester. Amp is in good condition physically, although it's not quite mint. It's a few years old now. It will come with a fancy pants mains cable too. I have a 1m or 2m cable....you can pick. Please scrutinize the pics. Although I have to replenish the bank, I won't be bent over for a sale, so the price is firmish, but I'm prepared to negotiate a little. The shower is paid for, fitted and working well already. Postage on this is unlikely as I don't have the original packaging, however I am happy to post at YOUR RISK AND COST. No comeback if it doesn't survive. I'm serious as it's a heavy beast. I will only use UPS so expect a decent wedge for postage. Collection is absolutely encouraged and a demo is always offered. Socially distanced is also possible. I am happy to meet up with anyone for petrol money within 50miles of Wolverhampton too. £800 for probably my favourite valve amp so far.

It's one of those things, Andrew. I never buy spare kit as everytime i do, it bites me on the arse elsewhere... I thought it was safe this time but alas, the backside has teeth marks again

A very very good amp.
I've got one, I bought it back in January, and although I'm an enthusiastic box swapper I intend to keep mine for the long term.
I just know that if I sell it there will come a time when the itch for a valve amp will return, and I've had sufficient numbers of them to know that they really don't come better than this. In fact, you can pay a hell of a lot more and get a hell of a lot less.
It's a box swapper's dream anyway - thanks to its cunningly clever autobias circuit it can accept an amazing variety of power valves.
Some folks tut tut about possible less than stellar measurements, but just listen to the thing, it sounds marvellous and has music in its soul.
Good luck with the sale, it's a great amp.

Looks lovely, but 50 miles just won’t work for me.

Sorry to hear you have to let it go so soon, looks like a nice buy for someone after a superb valve power amp? Cheers Jim, Yes it would be a very rewarding purchase for anyone looking to get into valve amps. Their reputation amongst those who have heard them is unblemished. Most guys actually end up returning to the brand after letting an amplifier go. I have been told this by three separate people and I think the Progmeister on HFWW has just sold more expensive amps to return to the PrimaLuna brand. jandl100 is spot on, you can spend a lot more than this on a valve amp and be a long way short of its performance. It's a bargain at this price and I am genuinely hoping this catches the eye of someone who is like me. Not got the biggest budget and needs to mine the internet for good pieces. This amp deserves an appreciative listener. I am a fan and will revisit in the future.

The little beastie outside my office has a MTOW of 227,000 kg. I have a feeling there may be a compatibility issue. The smallest aircraft we currently make has a MTOW of 75,500 kg. We need another airport.... Actually, one runway will take about 4,000 kg. Still not enough.

You could land on the M6, I think there's a straight stretch by Ollie's house.
