That deck looks in very nice condition, and I have to say the Fidelity arm suits it down to the ground. I'll assume the arm might be used on your next deck. Good luck with the sale.

I'm thinking of trying the arm in my next deck but it's not a given, it depends if anything better comes up in the meantime

That is one pimped up 1210....unbelievably well priced too. glws That's why I've been reluctant to sell it, the bearing and platter are virtually unobtanium and there's a VERY long wait on a Paul Hynes PSU. I've never seen another of those platters for sale anywhere, and I've only ever seen two bearings sold since I bought my one a few years ago. If it hadn't sold off the original Technics arm I would have rebuilt it as standard and just sell off the upgraded parts and sell the TT as standard. However needing the cash at the time I stupidly sold the arm and gave away the feet for free only to find out now that a Mk5 arm is virtually impossible to find at anything under Β£300 and the feet are Β£40 each π‘ Removing the PSU is doable but would mean replacing the main board which again adds to the cost. So scratch going back to standard. If it doesn't sell, then it's not a problem, it'll just go into a cupboard never to be played again if I replace it, I have no use for two turntables. So unless grandkids the want to start playing records ( highly unlikely ), an idea I'm not keen on due to the cost of LP's, this TT will be mothballed. I'm only really trying to replace it because I'm bored and fancy another project, there's absolutely nothing wrong with how it sounds and anyone buying it will be more than happy.

I still have most of my standard parts from the upgrades. I did sell my arm, but I canβt use my current arm on anything else...

This is a great deck for the price. I can verify that the individual parts costs way more than the asking price. The Paul Haynes PSU is worth nearly Β£1K on its own. The MN bearing and platter are the best available, I should know through bitter experience of shelling out lots of pennies trying the various offerings. You'll not see another one like this for a VERY VERY long time.

Thanks, you're right, IF you could buy the upgrades new they would be around Β£2700 and that's without buying the deck itself so I think I've priced this fairly. You're basically saving almost a Β£1000 on upgrades AND getting a free 1210 π€ I didn't advertise this last year when I thought about selling as someone else had just advertised theirs at I think Β£2250 and I didn't want to spoil their sale by adding mine at the same time. I'll not be left wanting if it didn't sell and I didn't buy anything else, because every time I listen to it I wonder what the heck am I doing trying to sell it, to me it sounds great and I'm hoping I don't end up kicking myself because it would be almost impossible to replace the upgrades.

In fact thinking about it, I might be better having this Turntable still here when my other one arrives so I can compare, there's no guarantee I'll like the replacement π€

+1 your not going to be able to turn time back and re-purchase those upgrades and you'll be waiting an age for them to reappear individually on the 2nd hand market.
