Due to a change to my system I have for sale my Edingdales. These are the MK1 speakers and have had a make over by myself with the cabinets sanded carefully back to the bare veneer and a slightly darker walnut stain applied. I then finished to top coat with 4 layers of Tung oil to give them a lovely satin sheen. The plinths were also stripped back, sanded and sprayed satin black. While refurbishing the cabinets I also fitted upgraded speaker binding posts. (CMC-838-S-G Gold Plated) The speakers need no introduction as you all know they are excellent sounding. The speakers are strictly collection only from Yate, Bristol. I have no boxes for these I’m afraid but I will wrap them very well and assist you with them in your car. Sizes are. 240mm Wide 430mm Deep 1130mm High I understand at the moment this maybe very hard to come and collect due to the lockdown but I thought I’d get the ball rolling on these. Price I’m looking for £800 please. 0DDA146D-FCC5-4212-A2B4-7A9F651FECE2 by Nathan Rose, on Flickr 24526693-B717-43B0-B795-76AA46E7C2A9 by Nathan Rose, on Flickr 95FF9196-C807-482C-98C3-0989A311E98C by Nathan Rose, on Flickr DFFDC0D2-70A2-4D51-8786-C5BAC08BDA02 by Nathan Rose, on Flickr 5FB08C30-7BBC-417E-BBE1-7FC121209514 by Nathan Rose, on Flickr 028E270E-CAD7-4B9C-A905-63496D0AF8F6 by Nathan Rose, on Flickr CE2F29B0-6F17-4ABD-9275-1294B0F0F0D7 by Nathan Rose, on Flickr B87E1537-82C5-4211-88ED-57525A6E6FD7 by Nathan Rose, on Flickr 7F5F4B02-ADCB-463F-B573-ECD540FFEA25 by Nathan Rose, on Flickr

They look lovely. I would be tempted if I didn’t have a 13 hour drive each way.

such a shame you moved from Frampton. Yes and no. House prices in Frampton are ridiculous. The job here in France is much more interesting, as I work with the final product.

What a completely ridiculous price!
Last pair sold for over £1k!
Well done for being completely reasonable. I think these will be sold rather quickly.

Great job in sanding and oiling, the nicest pair of Edingdales I've seen.

Yes, very nice piece of work - they look great.
Yate. Bristol. You didn't sell me a Burmester CD player quite a few years ago, did you?
btw - GLWS!

Hi Jerry. Thanks for the kind comments.
No if you remember I bought Marantz 4230 receiver and 5020 cassette deck from you back in 2018 and you delivered it to me.

Doh, sorry - yup, I'm up with events now. What a bloody shame the Marantz receiver threw a wobbly on us. Still, they've now gone to someone who has the time to get it sorted. btw folks, I now realise that I've heard these very Edingdales - very fine speakers.

Temporarily removed from sale as I’m having a change of heart Has the shine worn off the B&Ws? I was listening to the B&W’s this morning and Thought I’d try the Eddies again. I really liked what I heard. Bigger soundstage and very low bass. Don’t get me wrong! I love the B&W’s there very very good but I think I prefer the Edingdales in my system. Maybe it’s the room that likes them better being forward firing ports! I don’t know.

Well, fair play for being honest about it! How often do us audiophiles get pulled in initially by the new item and then realise what we had was better.. I wonder. At least you still have the Eddie's!!
