Good question. I should perhaps play nothing but their music for a week or two and then when I go back to the usual diet she should be cured  |

Watched this very good film last night an excellent insight into personalities of both Alfred Lion & Frank Wolff and their relationship wih the artists. Especially liked the fact that many of the Blue Note clasics I own where recorded in RVG's parent's living room.

Can't remember who he was compared with but the conversation with Lou Donaldson about being signed... "Can you play like so and so?" "Yes, of course...." "Of course I couldn't play like him but what was I supposed to say, I was young and had no money..."
I think Mr Shing-A-Ling is the only Tone Poet I don't have so I'm buying it now :-)
