Moog & Polyfusion were the dog bollox. Although the ARP '2500' was one awesome machine, made famous on Close Encounters of the Third kind movie..It had it own haunting sounds, Still a amazingly powerful machine.. The Guy playing it was Phil Dodd He was an Engineer at ARP Instruments. He also installed the synth on the set. The Synth was built into a white custom ARP console with two expansion wings & two keyboards..  |
