It was great ! I'm hooked. I'm still having a bit of trouble reading how he's wrote out the chords. I can't figure out the rhythm from those strange arrows at the sides. . Thick line is the fattest string nearest your face. Thin one nearest your knee Down stroke from your face to knee. Simples

Not sure our 5 cats would be too keen on a dog coming into the family too though, they got an almighty shock when my son was born, LOL.

I'm ok with that but why the arrows at the side ?

I'm ok with that but why the arrows at the side ? To show you which direction to play the Chord. When being "taught" this is what they do. When you play, you'll dispense with most of that, as you instinctively know which way is the right way to play it.

I think it's the direction at the start of each bar then the two down arrows on the first chord means either play it four times TWICE at the start or play it again at the end after the third chord. If its Play it again at the end then why the fourth box ? Is he repeating the instruction dummy style ?

Originally I thought that it was the intro but reading the sheet again, I don't know what he's asking you to do?? To me the song is played down up, up down up. Watching Thin Lizzy and Metallica play it, that's what they do

So..... The hardest thing seems to be the changes between chords . Its mind boggling ! How the heck to I get my fingers from one chord to another while keeping the rhythm ? It seems impossible.

Work today, frustrating as hell! Some days are like that. Been in meetings this afternoon trying to "prove" an employee had a medical episode, against the company's opinion that it was a "setup" Long story, cant divulge. Employee has 12 years of medical history from certified professionals. The company representative has 0 years of experience as a medical practitioner, yet seems to know best. 3hrs of succesfully and completely discrediting the "evidence" held by the company, HR telling them to give it up, and the fella decides he needs more time to deliberate. It's over as a contest, we've won by a large number of wickets, but not untill he says so. Frustration ain't the word lol

Two very simple rules for an employee to remember....
1 - Don't do standing up, what you can do sitting down. 2 - Don't do sitting down, what you can do lying down.
And always remember, unless you work for yourself, your only a number.

That's what I'd do straight away, even if the argument was already won.

Loads going on as the employee is being investigated for comments in a social media group and then fell ill ar work. A superior ignored the reported illness due to prejudice (which ended up being life threatening)

Sounds potentially actionable. Is a union involved?
