I’m not sure what mine will be. For years it’s been CD, but my vinyl is so good, it’s drawing me to it. That said, I have way more CDs and they are so cheap and easy to store, I may buy a lot more.
I can’t see me streaming or using digital files. I don’t listen attentively to radio and tapes of any type have never appealed. What about you?

CD for me. Will sell almost all my vinyl at some point when I've got the time to do it.

CD's see no reason to change, and they can be picked up for a song at present.

I use both vinyl and CDs 50/50 split but gave but gave vinyl the nod for superior sound quality.

I'm gonna stick with CD, as for me the only good vinyl sound comes from right arm/left leg kind of money and the cost of buying a new stylus isn't cheap at regular intervals either. That's why 'bottled' gear leaves me cold too as some of those prices for replacements and rolling are nuts.
The stoage of vinyl takes up a lot more space too, which I don't have any more.
Finally, I cannot stand all the pops and clicks from vinyl, unlike CD which has none.

Streaming is certainly taking over in this household. So bloody easy when set up and with Roon a pleasure to use. I can not believe I've just said that.  |
