Watched A Clockwork Orange again last night must be the millionth time lol.. Love the bit where Alex breaks into posh Mrs Weathers at woodmere Health farm & killing her with her own giant Cock. Well after all she did call him a little Basterd twice & the worse thing, taking a swipe at him with a Beethoven Ornament..

It goes on far too long. Nothing happens, slowly.
I watched 'You Only Live Twice' t'other evening. There's some space-related stuff in that too, but it gallops along at a fair old pace, with lots of explosions to keep you awake.

His best film IMO - I had the DVD but lent it to a mate who reckoned he was a big Kubrick fan but he'd never even heard of it.

Just watched '8mm' with Nicholas Cage again. It's a bleak, dark and twisted tale, but the acting is superb. Powerful stuff!

I’m really enjoying “chasing classic cars”. Wayne Carini is pretty dead-pan and that initially turned me off. However, he kinda grows on you because he lets the cars steal the show.
Still enjoying Salvage Hunters too. Not keen on Drew Pritchard, but the show is always interesting.
I’m also re-watching Dave Gorman’s Modern Life is Good-ish and Big Bang Theory.
The rest of my TV is reruns of Oak Island, Ancient Aliens, Pawn Stars, Storage Wars and documentaries on the cosmos, alternative history, aliens or ancient Egypt,
I never watch dramas or soaps. Rarely watch a movie, although I did enjoy Ghost in The Shell recently.

Forgot about this thread, we've been watching an Italian production, English sub-titles, series called Gomarrah on Sky Atlantic. It's all about drug gangs, mainly set in Naples, and we are now starting series 4.

Before your time Macca, watched a few episodes of Public Eye and Special Branch.

Yep they are before my time although I am familiar with Special Branch.
I've got loads of old episodes of 'The Equalizer' taped. I like to watch them while I eat my tea. Aids the digestion. I don't count that as proper telly though. Proper telly stopped about 1983 except for some very occasional exceptions.
Most of these moderns shows seem more concerned with showcasing race and sexuality issues rather than providing entertainment. And today's actors are mostly rubbish. No idea how to get the best out of the material.

Watch Endeavour Macca, real quality tv. We've also watched Callan and Callan the movie was on a couple of weeks ago. Yep I watched Callan the other week too. Not keen on the whole 'Morse' thing though even though it is John Thaw. Although he's not in Endeavor though. Actually don't watch anything where it's all about 'There's been a murder and we have to find out who did it' set up. Columbo not so bad I suppose but they're all the same formula. The only modern shows I've watched in the last few years are 'The Orville' and Magnum P.I'. Neither is great but they're just about watchable. The other night I was watching episodes of 'Yes Minister' on You Tube. I'm only guessing but I reckon the people making shows today have never seen it or they'd realise just how poor the Sh#t they are pumping out is. I always wonder about that. If they bring a show that used to be popular back they nearly always chuck out all the things that made the old one great. Like they don't seem to realise why it was a popular show. Two of my favourites - Minder and The Professionals were both rebooted and they were diabolical. As Terry McCann might have said.

'Bless This House' from 1971. The series not the film. Used to watch these when they were first on.

Television in this country stinks worse than a cats litter tray that has not been changed for a year. Have not turned my telly on once in the past 9 months.
