Hi all from an old difficult cynical music lover, I refuse to wear the Audiophile badge. Been at this for over 50 years. Fed up with box swapping and chasing the shadow of my tail like a daft dog trying to seek the perfect piece of equipment. (it does not exist) Now I just get my system to play music the way I like to hear it, and sit back and enjoy my tunes. (being a pensioner on a fixed income is a great motivating factor in this regard)
I am still very interested in listening to every piece of equipment and other systems I have the opportunity to hear. And discussing this hobby with others.
All part of the fun.
Fortunately I get to listen to all sorts of exotic things, have friends with lots of money who continually play around.
So hi again do not take me seriously, it all just my opinion after all.

Hi Lemos. I like your avatar. It sounds like you have acquired a very healthy and sensible approach to this hobby. I’d count myself as a “recovering” box swapper these days. It’s still early days so I don’t want to bandy wor like “reformed” or “cured”around. Maybe in a year or so if I still have the same stuff.

Nope they kept goats, now there is not a tree, blade of grass, weed, insect, just scorched cracked earth, even the chickens left for better pastures, niks nyada left. Sorry the flies still remain. |
